I'm back from the dead again!
So I've been doing some matte painting practices lately, mostly because I realize that my film and animation work would greatly benefit from it, but also because I've been wanting to create awesome anime backgrounds for so long!
Anyway, would appreciate it if you check these out and leave a comment or two:
-- Landscape matte painting practice I'm doing to hopefully serve as background for an indie game I'm working on with a friend.
-- This one's actually a teaser for a project that I will hopefully get to do starting 2012. Going for the flat anime look again, I thought it looked kinda neat. Thoughts?
I registered The Worldless blog at theworldless.wordpress.com/
just last night as I was finishing this teaser. It's nothing big, really, it's basically just a form of my commitment to start creating artworks and philosophical writings on a regular basis again.
I will still be working on
of course, perhaps more intensely than ever now that the projects getting larger and larger, but I'm pretty sure things will get intertwined more and more and contribute to each other. That's kinda how life works out I guess; or at least when viewed from a certain angle
Oh and speaking of my series, let me plug in a contest we're holding up until end of year:
If you can draw even if just a bit, submit your stuff, we got a ton of prizes waiting. Like, right now, we got more prizes than submissions, really, so be an early bird and win!
Anyway, looking forward to interacting with you artsy people more frequently very soon, so I hope you haven't quit on me and will still look forward to more of me in 2012!
